Tyre & Puncture Repair
Repairing a tyre is not as straightforward as you might first think. Before any repair is carried out, the tyre must always be thoroughly inspected for damage. There are several conditions that mean a tyre should not be repaired, including illegal tread depth below 1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tread, secondary damage caused by the injuring object, ageing or deterioration of the tyre rubber, bead damage, exposed cords, or any faulty and poor previous repairs. Inspection is absolutely vital — if there is any doubt at all about whether a tyre is safe to repair, it should not be repaired.
Runflat tyres
Please note that unfortunately we are unable to repair runflat tyres. For all other tyres, we provide expert puncture repair using either a patch or plug, depending on the nature of the damage.
A repair with a standard patch is €50 and includes a wheel balance, while a repair with a plug is €20. Mushroom patch repairs are also available at €50, and van repairs with a plug are €20.
